Progress….

I’m excited to be writing this post! Since this is kind of like my baby scrapbook, its a must that we take note of what’s been happening!
Sweet sweet Reagan is moving! It started this past Saturday night, and when I watched her do it for the first time I just started to cry! So many people have been praying and praying for this day and it finally came! Although she’s not “crawling” or moving in the sense that I thought she would; she’s moving and thats what counts in my book. We have been seeing a physical therapist 4 times a month now for almost 6 months. And I’ve been getting weary, and at times overwhelmed thinking that it’s never going to happen. I’ve been volunteering in the nursery on Sundays, and it gets hard seeing all these little babies, moving around, and then seeing Reagan, knowing that she wants to, but for some reason can’t.
So today we saw the PT and she was pleased with our progress. She is moving by sitting on her bum, scooting a leg, then pushing with her hands, then scooting her legs and so on. She’s not mastered it yet, nor is she quick, but its a step in the right direction. So tonight I took some pictures of her getting my hair band. Why is it always the weirdest things that she gets motivated to go after?
So if you think about remember to keep praying for Reagan! Our goal is only another 6 months of therapy and she’ll be caught up and right on track!

Hooray for Reagan! I was talking to someone recently & they said both of their kids skipped crawling all together & just started walking…maybe Reagan will do that, since she loves walking holding your hand

Yeah Rea!! We are so very proud of your new movements. (And Jenny, maybe crying is a family trait because these pictures had the same effect on me) We will continue to pray for more and more wonderful progress… and are counting down the days for your visit especially for your first slumber party at Aunt Danielle and Uncle David’s house!!!
Good Job Reagan! Way to go sweet girl! Get ready to start baby proofing now Jenny! If she’s anything like Soph, she will be into everything! So excited for her!
